Our history

Canadian Solar was founded in Ontario, Canada in 2001 and was successfully listed on NASDAQ Exchange in 2006. Today, we operate across three continents, delivering solar modules to customers over 50 countries.

  • Seven wholly-owned manufacturing subsidiaries with a total combined facility space of over to 260,000 sqm and a module capacity of 2.05 GW.
